Get yourself a tabletop fountain for soothing sounds that can help you relax. Running water has a calming effect on the mind. The fountains come in all sizes and could be conveniently placed on a desk or table at work or at home. Whenever you feel stressed, take some time to listen to your mini-waterfall.

Stress is directly related to the food you consume. You can reduce your stress level by reducing the amount of coffee and caffeine that you consume on a daily basis. So you’ll feel calmer inside, which will allow you to feel better.

Monitor your stress. An excessive level of stress can frequently lead to depression if it begins to adversely affect your daily life. Avoid getting to this point by eliminating as much stress as possible. Learn to say ‘no’ to others, and be sure to surround yourself with positive people and things.
