Oils are an essential step in our skincare routine. It helps to seal the moisture on our skin. Using oils will keep our skin nourished and moisturized all day long. When shopping for oils, you want to buy a good quality oil: 100% Organic and pure, fragrance-free, and unrefined. Oils that are processed contain preservatives, and these can irritate your skin. Ideally, you want to purchase oil in a dark glass container. Glass bottles are environmentally friendly and 100% non-toxic. If your oil comes in a plastic bottle, make sure to keep it in a cool dark place and to recycle the plastic container once it’s empty. Oils are useful to reduce the appearance of wrinkles; they can shrink enlarged pores it protects your skin; it’s a good and cheap makeup remover.

COCONUT OIL

Coconut oil is amazing for your skin, hair, and cooking. It has good healthy fat, which makes it fantastic for food, as you probably already know. Overall, coconut oil is a great oil to apply to your skin. It has anti-bacterial properties and can help to clear acne. Using coconut oil to your body will leave it smooth and soft to the touch. Rosehip is one of my favourite face oil. It’s a game-changer and has many great benefits for the skin. Even though it’s the most pricey oil, you will reap a lot of benefits from it. It will leave your skin plump and looking rejuvenated. It is rich in anti-oxidants, which will prevent signs of ageing. It’s a great source of Vitamin A, and C. Vitamin A has excellent anti-ageing properties, helps for pigmentation. Vitamin C promotes collagen production, prevents skin from sagging, helps for the moisture of the skin.
These vitamins can be found in our foods as well, such as salmon, berries, broccoli, apple, spinach, pineapple, grapefruit, orange, lemon, etc. Rosehip oil has a clear reddish-orange liquid. If you purchase an oil that is light or clear, note that it is not a good quality oil.   1. I’m so scared of oils because of my combination skin but you may have convinced me to add it to my routine

    1. Yaye! Give it a try. It’s normal to be scared to be afraid to use oils when we have combo skin or even oily skin. Try a lighter oil, such as Jojoba oil or Rosehip, as penetrates the skin well.
