Plastic or reusable water bottles?

Hi all,

Thank you for coming back to my blog!
In today’s blog post, we are discussing if we should keep on using plastic or reusable water bottles. Personally, I’m a big advocate of not only reusable bottles but glass bottles. Giving up water bottles is a good way to go green.

Despite the fact that plastic water bottles can be recycled, less than 20% actually end up being recycled and reused. All the energy involved in recycling them is often just wasted, so even though they’re recyclable, they won’t actually end up being recycled. This should encourage you to buy a reusable water bottle instead of buying plastic water bottles all the time.

I personally prefer glass water bottles instead of stainless steel ones. I just cannot bear the metal taste after a while. I try to be sustainable as much as possible, therefore, I simply reusable my spaghetti sauce glass jar or a mason jar. It’s simple, affordable, you can find different sizes and it does the job! Besides saving money, you’ll help save the planet as well. I’m not going to lie, my friend and family make fun of me, but I really don’t mind! Lol!

Most plastic bottles that aren’t recycled end up in the water, affecting aquatic life and marine life. Other marine animals such as whales, turtles, and dolphins consume them, and can easily die if they are ingested.

Be sure to thoroughly wash out your reusable water bottle at the end of each day too, to prevent bacteria from building up.

There are even reusable water bottles with markings on them that encourage you to drink more, which is good for your health!

Hope you enjoyed this blog post.
If you have any more suggestions, feel free to live them below.
