Anyone who knows me knows that I LOVE coffee. I just LOVE coffee. Just the aroma in the house in the morning awakens me. What’s the best way to start a day than with an excellent warm beverage? Humm…I’m already looking forward to the next morning to enjoy my delicious drink.
I will be sharing my go-to morning drink. Some call it “Butter coffee,” most commonly called “Bulletproof coffee.” I promise you; it is tasty! The thought of having oil in your coffee and seems disgusting, but it’s not. Trust me!
So here’s how I make my coffee:
- 1 cup of fresh brew coffee
- 1/3 cup of nut milk
- 1 tbs of Ghee or grass-fed butter
- 1 tbs of coconut oil or MCT oil
- 1/4 tsp of Ceylon cinnamon (you can use regular cinnamon as well)
1 tbs of sugar-free syrup or 2 tbs of coconut sugar, or you can use any sweetener of your choice, but these are my favorite.
To make sure my drink stays warm, I warm up the milk, coffee, Ghee in a small pot. Afterward, I place all my ingredients in a blender, and I blend everything for 30 seconds on high speed to give it a frothy texture.
You can add cinnamon if you want.
Voilà! Your drink is ready!
